It is actually the first time I visit the city of Shenzhen, it really is an open-minded area. After visiting Huaqiang North, I have a new level of understanding the props in Zhou Xingchi’s movie “From Beijing With Love”.

I rarely wandered around Yuanmingyuan this year, I even missed the lotus blooming season. It was a nice breezing day. After a little walk, I went to the spot by the water waiting for sunset.

The weight control campaign is still active, home-made meals and keeping exercising, however I do miss the satisfaction from a full stomach. Occasionally I indulged my self by two packs of “1.5” pack instant noodle, the guilt afterwards pushes me to exercise more. One lap around Yuanmingyuan Fuhai is about 2 km. Sometimes I run in the sunset. It gets dark quickly after the sun goes behind the hills, but there are still people around. I wonder if I can scare the shit out of people to running with a traditional chinese clothes and yelling “Hurry, the French are coming!”.

To start living a delicate style, I bought some leaf shaped fragrance dispensers. The weakest heart-shaped plant I got from my office still lives strong. Due to the extra rain in Beijing this year, my yard is covered by lovely mosses; moreover, the wild lilies my mom planted have some nice white flowers. I love working on the yards, but every time I do I pay the price of blood. The nearby creek and trees nurse some fierce mosquitoes. I cover myself with spray but it only works for 10 minutes.
